Bring 5 Litres of water to the boil in a large pot. Add 500g pasta and 1-2 teaspoons of salt (or to taste). When the pasta is cooked ‘al dente’, drain well and serve with your favourite sauce.
Angel Hair with Sausage
Sauté 2 cloves crushed garlic, 1 sliced onion and 2 chopped sausages of choice. Add 400g canned tomatoes (pureed), 1 sliced capsicum, 1/4 cup water, 1 teaspoon salt and 2 tablespoons sugar. Mix well, simmer 10 minutes. Add cooked and drained pasta, and stir through. Serves 4.
